THE FUTURE TO CREATE
WITH CHILDREN
As part of our social contribution activities, we are actively engaged in activities to provide financial support through NGOs / NPOs around the world by using part of the proceeds from our business activities.
Specifically, we are engaged in activities such as financial support activities, event planning and staff exchange, and fundraising plan implementation, mainly in the fields of education, medical care, and poverty alleviation for children who will lead the next generation. As of 2024, we are promoting activities in tie-up with 8 organizations from 3 countries, Singapore, Australia, and Japan.
Singapore Children's Society
Since 2019, we have been providing financial support to the Singapore Children's Society's activities to foster economically disadvantaged youth across all religions and races.
The Singapore Children's Society was founded in 1952 to protect and nurture child and youth of all races and religions. In 2017, they reached out to 65,536 children, adolescents and families in need.
Currently, Singapore Children's Society operates 12 service centers in Singapore, divided into four categories: vulnerable child and youth, child and youth services, family services, and research and nursing departments.
Funds raised by 1,000 companies will be used through 12 service centers and 79 programs for children in need.
KK Women's and Children's Hospital
Since 2019, we have been providing financial support through the KKH Health Fund (KKHHF) for medical support activities for economically disadvantaged women and children, which are carried out by KK Women's and Children's Hospital.
"KK Women's and Children's Hospital" is a fund by KKHHF to invest in medical research, education, and disease prevention programs aimed at improving the health of women and children. Over 2 million Singapore dollars are spent annually to reduce the medical burden for patients and their families in need.
UNICEF Australia
Since 2013, we have been providing financial support to UNICEF Australia's activities in more than 190 countries and regions to protect children's rights. Part of our sales proceeds is used to support children through UNICEF Australia.
Hope & Wish for Children with Life-Threatening Illness and Their Families
From 2019, we will provide financial support for activities to support children with life-threatening illness and their families, which is conducted by Hope & Wish for Children with Life-Threatening Illness and Their Families. We are co-sponsoring a human resources development program based on social contribution training LEA (Living-Experience Approach).
Hope & Wish for Children with Life-Threatening Illness and Their Families, known as Hope&Wish, was established in Japan in 2010 as a non-profit organization to support children with life-threatening illness and their families throughout Japan.
It is an organization that aims to create a place where "family", "life", and "happiness" can be nurtured together in society based on lasting exchanges between children suffering from life-threatening illness and their families.
Together with children with life-threatening illness and their families, we plan and carry out dozens of family trips yearly, called wish vacations, and provide opportunities for social interaction with families to give vitality and courage toward the future.
Karuizawa Child Future Fund
(Sports Community Karuizawa Club)
We have founded the "Karuizawa Child Future Fund" jointly with the NPO Sports Community Karuizawa Club (address: 332-4, Nagakura, Karuizawa, Kitasaku District, Nagano / chairman: Yoshihiro Onuma).
Karuizawa Child Future Fund, with "Opportunities for all children to experience sports, arts, and culture" as its mission statement, aims to nurture children's mental and physical health and develop their "zest for life" through providing every child in difficult circumstances in Karuizawa with opportunities to experience sports, arts, and culture.
We actively support the Karuizawa Child Future Fund through financial contributions and participation in and cooperation with its programs.
Plan International Japan
An international NGO working in more than 70 countries around the world to realize a society free of poverty and discrimination. Since 2009, we have been conducting sponsorship activities for dozens of children.
Children's Campaign of Palestine
An international NGO that supports children in the Palestinian region. Since 2010, we have been carrying out support activities such as financial support activities and staff cooperation in support activities for the Great East Japan earthquake.
As a company in Singapore, we will continue to contribute to the revitalization of local communities and carry out support activities for the creation of a valuable future.
