2021.09.27 UPDATE

We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your continued support.

On September 27, 2021, the Ministry of Health of Singapore (MOH) requested companies in Singapore to take measures to encourage workers who can work from home to do so as much as possible and to avoid commuting in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Therefore, from today, we have decided to implement remote work for all employees for the time being.

As a result, we will not be able to answer calls to our representative telephone number of the office. Please contact us by e-mail.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding.

On April 15, 2020, the Singapore Ministry of Health (MOH) called on companies in Singapore to implement more stringent and effective infection control measures. As a result, we have decided to implement remote work for all employees working at our Singapore headquarters, effective immediately, in order to prevent the spread of infection at work and during the commute.

In an effort to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 to our employees, we have prohibited all physical contact including those with our business partners during the circuit breaker period, and have also ordered a ban on business trips to foreign countries.

Additionally, in order to support our employees and their families, we have established a health condition consultation desk with a specialist doctor, provided 10,000 masks and disinfection sprays to more than 50 employees and contract employees, outsourced contractors, and temporary employees who work closely. We have also independently provided a "COVID-19 Measures Benefits" to full-time employees.

In addition, as a Japanese company operating in Singapore, we strictly adhere to the infection prevention measures set out by the Singapore government, and as a responsibility to society, we intend to fully support medical institutions and NGOs who are working to prevent COVID-19 infection in Singapore.

As a result, we will not be able to answer calls to our representative telephone number of the office. Please contact us by e-mail (support@obi.sg).

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding.
