Hope & Wish for Children with Life-Threatening Illness and Their Families

OBI HOLDINGS PTE LTD (hereafter "OBI") has invited children with life threatening illness and their families to Singapore for four days on May 16, 17, 18, and 19, 2024 through "Wish Vacation, " of "Hope & Wish for Children with Life-Threatening Illness and Their Families" (Location: 4A Gojo Building, 2-9-10 Irifune, Chuo-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Mr Riki Osumi)

"Wish Vacation" is an activity in which "Hope & Wish for Children with Life-Threatening Illness and Their Families", works with children with life threatening illness and their families to plan and organize more than a dozen family trips a year, actively providing opportunities for family and social exchange, thereby giving them the energy and courage to face the future.

OBI offered a full range of services from itinerary planning to local support, making this the first overseas "Wish vacation" for the participants. OBI had a welcome party at the OBI headquarters, they visited Marina Bay Sands, Night Safari, Sentosa Island, and other tourist attractions in Singapore, and deepened exchanges with each other.

Two families who participated in the Wish Vacation said, "The kids had a lot of fun, stayed safe, and grew up." One family said, " I thought it would be difficult to travel with a handicapped family, but we had a great time. That made me feel that I should try my best to be positive in everything." These were some of the comments that OBI received from the participants, which made us reaffirm the importance of the connection with society and the significance of our activities.

Nagayama, Director of our company, received the "Medal with Dark Blue Ribbon" at the beginning of the year 2024 as he received the same medal last year, and we were delighted to receive it in Singapore along with letters from those who participated in the "Wish Vacation" this time.

We will continue to promote activities to solve social issues through financial support activities, event planning, interaction with staff, and implementation of fundraising plans, focusing on the fields of education, medical care, and poverty alleviation for children who will be the leaders of the next generation.
